Amelia Shelly's solo homer
was the only Banshee's run through 6 innings with the
Lady Fireballs. In the 7th inning, the Banshee's
loaded the bases with two outs. Nicole Casagrand
hit a clutch double to secure the lead. Sophia
Nicholson pitched superbly for a complete game and win.
In the second game, an excellent Vienna Stars proved too
much for the Banshee's to overcome. In the third
game, Maria Spinosa hit a walk-off home run after a
lead-off walk by Lauren Lawlor to beat the Pride.
Jayme Ziegler pitched superbly for a complete game and
win. |
