A.S.A. OR N.S.A. OR PONY rules apply, (DEPENDING ON THE
TYPE OF TOURNAMENT) with the following exceptions:
All fall tournaments - a team can choose to bat everyone and
have unlimited defensive substitutions and will be played
using A.S.A. rules with the following exceptions.
Home
team determined by coin toss, called by team that traveled
the furthest distance. On Sunday home team decided by seeding
with lowest seeded team being home. (ex. Seed 1 vs Seed
4 - Seed 1 home team).
Game
starting time established by plate umpire with no new inning
starting beyond 1 hour and 20 minutes after start time.
If game is tied after 7 innings (6 innings 10 & U) and
time still remains international tie breaker will be employed
for the start of 8th inning (7th inning 10 & U). All
tie games on Saturday will stand. ONLY CHAMPIONSHIP game played
to conclusion, after 7 innings (6 innings 10 & U) international
tie breaker employed at top of 8th inning (7th inning 10
& U) If game is tied and game is passed 1 hour and 20
min limit next inning starts tie breaker till a winner is
determined.
Exception:
ALL Sunday Games on time limit except finals.
Run
Ahead Rule (losing coach has option to stop play at any
time) 15 after 3 innings - 10 after 4 innings - 8 after 5
innings.
Courtesy runner for pitcher and catcher at any time last
batted out if team is batting entire roster or someone who is not in the game. Not to be
confused with someone who was never in the game. This means
a starter who is not in the game may run.
Order
for determining seeds for championship and consolation brackets.
FAILURE TO TURN SCORE IN WILL RESULT IN A 20 TO 0 LOSS

Forfeit
- Failure to have 9 girls ready to play 10 minutes after
scheduled start time.
No
protest will be considered on a judgment call. All others
to be handled immediately by tournament director with their
decision being final.
Rain
interruptions are continued where they stopped. Tournament
rain format will be determined by tournament director. Decision
to stop play will be made by plate umpire or tournament
director.

warm up pitches to start game, 3 for all other innings.
No
pregame infield practice, stay out of diamond area. No throwing
or hitting balls into fences. No on deck or players behind
plate. At conclusion of game please move your team out of
dugout area as soon as possible so next team can move in.
Only
manager, coaches and players will be allowed on field during
a game. No outside interference or coaching from the sidelines
will be tolerated. Violation of this rule may result in
a team forfeiting a game. Please lay off the umpires
they are not getting paid that much.
No
new inning after 1 hour and 20 minute time limit. Ties stand
on Saturday.
All
bats, helmets and catcher’s gear are subject to inspection
by the umpires to verify conformance with PONY standards.
Coaches must have this equipment ready for inspection prior
to the pre-game conference, as their teams move into the
dugouts.
Coaches
must ensure that any player warming up another player
using any form of a pitching motion wear an approved facemask
within the confines of the ball park.
No
loud boom boxes or loud radios are permitted in the parks
at any time.
